Scene 9

In this scene the class and I decided that I would be the Woman in this scene.

In this scene its split into "a" and "b". However, a member of the class had the idea of merging the two speeches together between Dogsborough and the Woman.
It worked brilliantly.
Instead of having the Woman start the scene, we're having Dogsborough open it saying "Thus I, honest Dogsborough,
After eighty years as an honourable man,
Did willingly consent to all crimes
Perpetrated by this bloody gang."- then my character will start saying her first line "Help. You there- please don't leave. I need witnesses."
It will be like this through the whole scene. I think it works really well for the scene because Dogsborough is writing a letter in his home about how he isn't as honest as everyone thinks he is, and having the Woman in the scene is proving his point, because he never tried to prevent anything bad from happening.

I think this works well because it's showing the crimes that Dogsborough let happen as he's saying it.
